Data Center Technician

Backblaze is seeking a Data Center Technician to manage, maintain, and optimize the physical infrastructure of their data center operations. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of server hardware, networking equipment, and structured cabling, and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data center or server infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on knowledge of server hardware and deployments
• Proficient with structured cabling, fiber optics, and patch panel management.
• Experience with operating systems (Linux and basic scripting)
• Excellent communication, time management, problem solving and organizational skills
