Job Description
Backblaze is seeking a Principal Product Manager to join their Product team. The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders to understand the evolution of cloud storage and customer problems, and determine product strategies and roadmap to address those problems.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Product Management experience in tech businesses
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling technical products or platforms
- Strong grasp of cloud architecture, APIs, and security and compliance
- Proven success in owning product roadmaps, defining MVPs, and driving the complete product life cycle
- Strategic thinker who can translate market trends, customer needs, and technical innovations into a clear product vision and actionable roadmap
- Deep empathy for customers and users in gathering and synthesizing input, and a passion for solving their most pressing security challenges
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills with a collaborative and team-oriented approach
