Assistant Engineering Manager

The Assistant Engineering Manager is responsible for supporting the engineering delivery of Project Hopper, a critical delivery into both the T26 Build Programme and the RECODE In-Service Technical Refresh Programme, and reports to the Hopper Engineering Manager. The role involves managing Engineering tasks, identifying and managing risks, supporting interactions with stakeholders, and preparing for design review assessments.

Requirements

• Experience in systems or software engineering delivery with strong knowledge of Engineering governance processes
• Ability to manage complex technical issues and make engineering judgements with support from subject matter experts
• Good problem-solving skills for routine or moderate complexity situations
• Stakeholder management skills
