Senior NDT Engineer

Join BAE Systems as a Senior NDT Engineer to manage Non-Destructive Testing operations and governance activities, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and procedures.

Requirements

• Supervise a small multidisciplinary team of industry certified NDT Technicians
• Ensure team members are always applying Safety rules and initiatives
• Manage resource to cover shift patterns and operations support
• Liaise with Product Authorities, Third Party Assessors and other interested parties and stakeholders
• Work with suppliers to develop and accept automated NDT systems
• Ensure that all NDT equipment is maintained and calibrated in line with international and national standards and customer requirements
• Take an active part in supporting the Quality Team in application of the Quality Management System
• Be part of and contribute to the BAE NDT Community of Practice
