
Job description
Design cutting-edge electro-optical (EO) focal plane subsystems for space payloads, managing the intersection of optical physics, advanced materials science, high-speed electrical engineering, and cryogenic thermal management.
Lead the development of custom focal plane subsystems, define subsystem architectures, guide design and testing, and collaborate with detector test teams.
Contribute to technical proposals, identify enabling focal plane technologies, and oversee procurement and subcontract activities.
