Events Manager

Bain Capital Ventures is seeking an Events Manager to plan and execute events for its San Francisco office. The role will involve developing creative ways to engage early-stage founders, curating special experiences, and maintaining a team budget. The ideal candidate is obsessed with building community, has strong opinions about event style and vibe, and has 5-7 years of relevant work experience.

Requirements

• Plan and execute ~2-3 small dinners per week, and 4-5 large events per year
• Develop creative and forward-thinking ways to engage early stage founders
• Curate special experiences for communities that are central to BCV’s success
• Maintain the team’s budget
• Work cross-functionally with BCV’s investing team and The Hive (platform team), as well as broader Bain Capital’s Boston-based events and marketing team on targeted events
• Oversee community-building efforts, managing lists, and other ways to keep event attendees connected and engaged after the in-person experience ends
