Senior Project Engineer

Senior Project Engineer at Baker Construction, supports field activities and project administration, collaborating with diverse teams, and having a hand in significant projects. The role requires a bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, proficiency in Microsoft software, and basic understanding of construction software. The Senior Project Engineer will possess competency in supporting project managers on the management of cost and schedule, managing the development of critical path project schedule documents, and analyzing project financial performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 4 years’ of experience, or 8 years’ of construction related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft software programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Basic understanding of construction software such as Primavera, Timberline
• Ability to understand, customize and modify spreadsheets
• Requires ability to maneuver in and out of job site trailers and various stages of job site terrains
• Frequently required to use hands to handle or feel
• Regularly required to sit, talk and listen
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
• Must have the ability to exert physical effort, handling average weight objects up to 20 pounds
