The Project Engineer II is responsible for providing technical coordination on project tasks in support of the Project Manager at Baker Electric, an employee-owned company.
Requirements
- Provide project engineering support to Project Managers
- Formulate project schedules
- Review project plans and specifications
- Coordinate Tier-Subcontractor scheduling
- Discuss utility service issues
- Evaluate Requests for Information
- Analyze supplier and subcontractor submittals
- Organize and follow up on submittal process
- Create and issue Subcontractors' contracts
- Assemble complete bills of material
- Review change order requests
- Assist in identification and implementation of value-engineering and pre-fabrication opportunities
- Develop project change order estimates and proposals
- Perform project close out phase processes and procedures
