Job Description
Join our Field Service team as a Senior Aeroderivative turbine Mechanical Field Service Engineer, leading activities, people and HSE compliance to a high standard. Provide technical direction for site activities, perform mechanical and hydraulic maintenance, and troubleshoot complicated mechanical and hydraulic problems on variable pitch/variable speed turbines.
Requirements
- 6+ years of work as a mechanical technician on aircraft engines, aero-derivative engines or other types of turbine technology
- Good mechanical/technical and oral communication skills
- Extensive Experience with gas turbines maintenance activities
- Have experience working in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment
- Display an impressive customer service-orientation mindset and experience leading customers through tough decisions
- Be skilled at communicating complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding
- Have a deep awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and potential risks
- Be a motivated self-starter and be able to make key decisions and innovate solutions
