Job Description
Would you like to work on cutting edge power management and energy management systems within energy & industrial sectors? Join our team of Controls Engineers who design, implement, test, and commission control solutions for power generation equipment and rotating electrical machines.
Requirements
- Designing and developing advanced control software for power system control, protection, and monitoring applications.
- Preparing, reviewing, and validating detailed technical specifications for control system projects.
- Creating comprehensive engineering deliverables, including I/O lists, functional specifications, control narratives, logic diagrams, and signal mapping.
- Defining, documenting, and optimising control system network architectures.
- Configuring and commissioning hardware platforms, including processors, PLCs, controllers, I/O modules, Ethernet switches, gateways, firewalls, and associated communication interfaces.
- Developing thorough software test plans and verification procedures.
- Executing rigorous internal testing and simulations.
- Ability to interpret electrical power system and switchgear components and create technical and functional design specification.
