Mechanical Field Specialist - Power Transmission Equipment

The Mechanical Field Specialist will provide on-site mechanical support, repair and maintenance of Power Transmission Equipment within customer facilities. The role involves traveling worldwide and working under pressure to ensure customer satisfaction. The position requires a HNC/HND qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related courses, previous experience in a Field Service position, and good mechanical knowledge of rotating equipment. The role involves working in a dynamic environment, providing technical assistance, and maintaining knowledge of new developments and technologies.

Requirements

• HNC/HND qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related courses
• Previous experience in a Field Service position or Technical role within a Mechanical Engineering rotating equipment environment
• Good mechanical knowledge of rotating equipment, highspeed equipment (pumps/gearboxes etc)
• Ability to read and interpret detailed mechanical drawings, documents, specifications, and instructions
• Ability to solve practical problems related to gear repair equipment
• UK citizenship and British passport
• Proficient in delivering clear and effective communication, both verbally and in writing
