Job Description
We are seeking a Rotor Shop Machinist to support our Rotor shop and Machine shop in Aldine/Westfield. The successful candidate will work with cutting-edge energy equipment machinery and have the opportunity to further develop their career with a global energy technology company.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Intermediate skill level (Aligning, Runouts, Turning, and Grinding on at least two of three machines; Manual Lathe, CNC lathe, and VTLs)
- Ability to operate Manual machines as well as CNC machines
- Experience in Gas turbine repair (HSPT, GE10's, Fr3, Fr5, Fr6, and F7) Rotors and component machining is a big plus
