Job Description
Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to join their multinational and high-performance engineering team delivering automation solutions for the Offshore energy sector. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in process automation, computerized systems validation, and project management in energy sector.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Automation and Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering or relevant
- Hands-on experience in industrial automation, including leading automation tasks within the team
- Experience with multiple automation system platforms including PLC, DCS, HMI and SCADA systems
- Experience with industrial networks and communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, CAN, as well as with OPC technology and OPC servers in industrial systems
- Effective organizational, time management and planning skills
- Customer service and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and process and instrumentation drawings
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 15%) including travelling offshore
