As a Senior Engineer Materials Science, you will be responsible for leading the materials engineering efforts on product levels for assigned projects, tenders and customer standardisation work with efficiency and integrity.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Corrosion or Welding from accredited college or university
- Significant experience within the Materials Engineering field, ideally in the offshore or subsea oil and gas industry
- Understanding of corrosion mechanisms and corrosion prevention
- Understanding of material manufacturing and fabrication processes such as forming, forging, heat treatment, welding and NDE
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards as NORSOK, ISO, ASME, API, ASTM, DNV etc, as well as design and fabrication requirements for Subsea Products
- Willingness and ability to travel as required
- Familiarity with Subsea Production Systems in general is desirable
