Senior Engineer, Disciplinary Engineering and Science - Materials Science

As a Senior Engineer Materials Science, you will be responsible for leading the materials engineering efforts on product levels for assigned projects, tenders and customer standardisation work with efficiency and integrity.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Corrosion or Welding from accredited college or university
• Significant experience within the Materials Engineering field, ideally in the offshore or subsea oil and gas industry
• Understanding of corrosion mechanisms and corrosion prevention
• Understanding of material manufacturing and fabrication processes such as forming, forging, heat treatment, welding and NDE
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards as NORSOK, ISO, ASME, API, ASTM, DNV etc, as well as design and fabrication requirements for Subsea Products
• Willingness and ability to travel as required
• Familiarity with Subsea Production Systems in general is desirable
