Bakersfield Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is a dedicated acute psychiatric facility located in Bakersfield, CA. We provide specialized care for adolescents ages 13 through 17 and adults 18 and over faced with mental health, behavioral health or substance use challenges. Registered Nurse | Admissions - Intake
Minimum of two (2) years psychiatric nursing experience and a current California RN license required
Chemical Dependency Counselor (Outpatient)
High School Diploma or GED, AA degree in Chemical Dependency, 2 years of experience as a Chemical Dependency counselor
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist | LMFT
High school diploma, master's degree in counseling or social work, and 2+ years of experience in behavioral or psychiatric settings
Registered Nurse | Inpatient
High school diploma or equivalent, current California RN license, and CPR certification required
Registered Nurse | Intake | Day Shift, Fri-Sat-Sun
High School Diploma or Equivalent, Current California RN License, Minimum of two years psychiatric nursing experience (acute inpatient preferred), CPR certification
Director of Quality and Risk Management (Performance Improvement)
High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in a related field, and at least 3 years of similar experience
Licensed Therapist | LCSW, LMFT, LPCC (Outpatient)
High School Diploma, Master's Degree, 2 years of experience in a behavioral or psychiatric setting, and a valid California-issued LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license
Educator
BSN degree, at least 3 years of psychiatric/behavioral nursing care experience, and experience with formal and informal teaching of adult learners
Activity Therapist
High school diploma, Bachelor's degree, and at least 2 years of experience in a healthcare field
Security Officer | Behavioral Health Hospital (PER DIEM)
High School Diploma or Equivalent, Current Security Guard Registration, Ability to work some weekends and holidays
