Job Description
Balance Health is a premier lower-extremity focused Physician Practice seeking a Medical Assistant to join their growing team. This role involves performing clinical and administrative patient-related duties, ensuring smooth patient flow, and fulfilling a variety of patient needs. The Medical Assistant will work with physicians and other members of the primary care team in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Requirements
- 1+ years medical assistant experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current American Heart Association CPR Certification
- Certification from an approved medical assistant program or equivalent combination of training
- Basic typing skills
- Strong computer skills and experience with EMR
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
