A skilled position with primary responsibilities for applying mastery and knowledge of electrical systems to planning, directing activities of technical maintenance personnel in support of planned maintenance and capital projects.
Requirements
- Master Electrician License
- Demonstrated leadership skills including delegation and follow-up
- Ability to work independently and exhibits sound judgment
- Possess Master Electrician License
- Competent in industrial power distribution, motor controls, NEC requirements for 480v/240v/277v, PLC’s and ladder logic, VFD’s, electrical trouble shooting, the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blue prints; shop mathematics and drafting skills
- Work effective with PM and Work Order systems to effectively allocate resources
- Ability to lead small groups
- Strong organization skills including prioritizing to meet customer expectations, smart allocation of resources, and the ability to translate BAC strategy into individual team member actions
- Ability to mentor and train junior technicians
- Effective written communication including documentation of processes, and the communication of those processes with fellow mechanics, supervisors, project engineers, and stake holders
- Demonstrated oral communication skills including the ability to communicate professionally with BAC customer and co-workers
- Competence in speaking in front of groups and giving presentations
- Organizational savvy that leverages contacts and relationships to achieve team goals
- Demonstrate strong problem solving skills and uses consistent root cause methodology
- Quickly adopts technology and is competent in the use of BAC software tools, databases, cloud-based applications, and Microsoft Office products
- Competency with MS Excel including creating spreadsheets, updating data and generating metrics including graphs, charts, and trendlines
- Understands and adheres to LEAN principles in the area
