VP, Financial Systems and Solutions

Banc of California seeks a VP, Financial Systems and Solutions to support and continuously improve financial systems and reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with practical systems experience and leverages data and emerging AI-enabled tools to streamline workflows, improve reporting accuracy, and increase operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within banking or financial services
• 4-6+ years of experience in systems analysis role or application administration/development
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
• Proficiency in financial systems including Oracle Fusion ERP and BlackLine (or similar financial reconciliation system) a plus
• Advanced Excel expertise, including complex formulas, Power Query, and data analysis techniques
• Experience with reporting and analytics tools, such as Power BI, Business Objects, SmartView, and Alteryx
• Experience with AI tools (I.e., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claud, or similar)
• High School diploma or equivalent required
