Service Technician - Field or Shop - Heavy Equipment

Service Technician responsible for safely providing high quality and effective repair of equipment and excellent customer service at Bane Machinery.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED or vocational training/certification
• 2-5 years' experience in the same or similar industry
• Knowledgeable and experienced with hydraulics, electrical, electronic systems, pneumatics, diagnostics and calibration
• Mechanical/technical aptitude, safe work habits, good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions
• Ability to diagnose electrical and hydraulic failures, including the use of schematics
• Proficient in the use and application of test and diagnostic equipment such as laptop, multi-meter and pressure gauges
• Ability to perform basic fabrication and welding processes
• Owns and maintains personal tool inventory
• Works with minimal supervision, customer service oriented, problem solver, reliable, ethical, able to adapt to the people and environment around them
• Communicates professionally, respectfully and honestly at all times
