The Area Chief of Staff leads and manages associate veterinarians in hospitals to ensure quality care and meet performance measures. They drive the culture and delivery of quality care by the veterinary provider team and partner with Practice Managers to develop and execute plans to achieve targeted KPI's.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent foreign degree
- 3 years of experience in small animal medicine and surgery practice
- Veterinary license in good standing or eligibility for licensure with all applicable state veterinary boards
- Leadership, planning, and alignment skills
- Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize tasks
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Surgical skills and ability to perform basic surgeries
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
