Pet Care Assistant

The Pet Care Assistant works with the veterinary medical team to provide and prepare for the best medical care of pets, and to ensure this is provided in a happy, welcoming, friendly and efficient manner, influencing clients to return and refer their friends and families.

Requirements

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple tasks at one time
• Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication
• Organizational ability and problem-solving skills
• Client service skills and ability to provide attentive, courteous and informative service
• Intellectual ability to follow instructions and provide directions
• Mathematical ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and to compute rate, ratio and percent
• Computer skills and ability to use specialized software
