The Pet Care Assistant works with the veterinary medical team to provide and prepare for the best medical care of pets. This includes preparing the treatment room, holding or restraining pets during examination, treatment, or inoculation, and monitoring the comfort of hospitalized patients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma preferred.
- One year related experience required with customer service preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography (x-ray) and exposure to radioactive substances.
