Job Description
The Associate, Core Systems Developer is responsible for the development, support, and maintenance of bank software systems. This role involves translating business requirements into application features, writing high-quality code, performing unit and integration testing, and performing functional and non-functional testing. The developer will also design software upgrades, diagnose and fix system problems, and support the QA team.
Requirements
- Understand business requirements and translate them into application features.
- Write high quality source code with clear comments, comprehinsive logs, complete applications within deadlines.
- Perform unit and integration testing before launch to User Acceptance testing (UAT).
- Conduct functional and non-functional testing.
- Evaluate existing applications and reprogram/update/add new features.
- Design step-by-step flowcharts.
- Recommend and work on software upgrades.
- Diagnose and fix system problems.
- Parametrization/perform configrations on systems.
- Support QA team during UAT.
- Adherence to internal work rules and regulations.
