Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Completions Mechanical & Piping Superintendent to join our process area material conveyance and handling project team, based out of Leroy, SK. The Mechanical & Piping Superintendent will be responsible for supervising and overseeing SMPEI field construction activities.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years in Systems Completions & Turnover on large industrial or infrastructure projects
- A demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors’ performance
- A demonstrated knowledge of lifting and rigging, means & methods
- A demonstrated ability to build relationships with others (and lead) people that lead to high performance outcomes
- Demonstrated mastery of SC/TO processes (RFSU, RFC, ITRs, systemization, turnover packages)
- Solid understanding of process hazards, electrical safety, and mechanical/energy isolation practices
- Proficiency with SC databases and dashboards
- Demonstrated ability to learn and quickly comprehend new concepts and technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to act confidently and decisively to avoid escalation
