Senior Planner

Bantrel is a leading provider of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services in Canada, seeking a Senior Planner/Scheduler to join their Mining team in Saskatoon. The role will involve planning and scheduling, working on projects such as the KSPC Ramp Up Project. Requirements

• Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated construction schedules
• Set up project schedules and integrate interdisciplinary schedule requirements
• Coordinate schedule development and updates with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning teams, and subcontractors
• Develop quantity release plans, installation curves, and progress measurement bases
• Review and validate quantity records
• Develop job-hour expenditure forecasts and support resource loading and levelling activities
• Perform quantity, manpower, and cost loading of schedules
• Review schedule data and define work logic and interfaces between disciplines and work scopes
• Assist in the development and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), schedule coding, and project control structures
• Identify discipline-specific critical and near-critical activities
• Monitor schedule performance and deviations, and recommend corrective actions or mitigation measures
• Support planning for shutdowns, tie-ins, and construction execution sequencing
• Perform schedule performance monitoring and control activities
• Prepare written schedule commentary for monthly progress reports
• Identify activities with critical or potential schedule impacts and prepare Schedule Impact Reports (SIRs)
• Support invoice preparation and progress-based payment assessments
• Assist the Lead Planner / Scheduler with schedule re-baseline development and implementation
