Collections Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Collections Specialist to support our revenue cycle operations. In this role, you will be responsible for following up on outstanding insurance and patient balances, ensuring timely reimbursement while upholding accuracy, compliance, and professionalism in every interaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical billing, collections, or account resolution
• Familiarity with insurance carriers, managed care plans, and third-party billing processes
• Working knowledge of FDCPA and other relevant collection regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and billing systems
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
