Certified Nurse Midwife

The Certified Nurse Midwife provides comprehensive midwifery services, including health assessments, OB management, and uncomplicated gynecological care. The role requires collaboration with physicians and staff to provide safe and personalized care for patients.

Requirements

• Conducts complete history and physical examinations/health assessments of patients
• Orders or performs laboratory diagnostic and screening tests
• Develops and implements treatment plan by prescribing/dispensing medications and/or injections
• Oversees labor and delivery of vaginal births
• Conducts full antepartum and intrapartum management
• Supports postpartum care of patients
• Responsible for the management of medically uncomplicated and low-risk patients
• Conducts and oversees uncomplicated gynecological care
