Histotechnologist Certified Full-time Day Shift

Job Summary: Responsible for section, stain, and mount tissue specimens in preparation for microscopic examination by the Pathologist.

Requirements

• Associate degree that includes 12 hours in both biology and chemistry
• At least 60 semester hours, or equivalent, from an accredited institution that, at a minimum, includes 12 semester hours of both biology and chemistry
• 1 year of documented clinical experience in a histopathology laboratory within the last five years
• ASCP certification or eligible for certification as Histology Technician by ASCP required within 6 months
