Job Description
The Medical Assistant provides direct patient care and clinical support within an outpatient clinic, including obtaining vital signs, reconciling medications, collecting patient history, and facilitating patient flow. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to ensure efficient patient care and support for providers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Equivalency
- 1+ year(s) of experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical office, clinic or similar setting
- Basic computer skills, experience with EMR System a plus
- Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- BAT and DOT certifications required for Medical Assistants in Occupational Medicine within 90 days of hire
