The Medical Assistant provides direct patient care and clinical support within an outpatient clinic, managing electronic health records, scheduling appointments, and coordinating tests and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Equivalency
- 1+ year(s) of experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical office, clinic or similar setting required
- Basic computer skills, experience with EMR System a plus
- Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- BAT and DOT certifications required for Medical Assistants in Occupational Medicine within 90 days of hire
