Job Description: The Medical Assistant will be responsible for the coordination of direct patient care activities and providing clinical support to providers within one of our clinical practices. Duties include check in patients, obtaining vital signs & medication reconciliation, patient medical history information, and navigating electronic health record system (EPIC).
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience in a medical office, clinic, or similar setting
- Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- BAT and DOT certifications required for Medical Assistants in Occupational Medicine within 90 days of hire
- Certification/Education Reimbursement
- Basic computer skills, specifically with navigating within databases containing highly confidential information
