Infrastructure Equity, Senior Associate

As part of Barings’ newly formed and expanding Global Infrastructure Equity group, the Senior Associate will play a key role supporting the full investment lifecycle across core, core‐plus, and value‐add infrastructure opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, with Business or Finance preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience in investment banking or private equity
• Experience in analyzing financial statements and conducting due diligence
• Advanced financial modeling skills
• Familiarity with sectors such as energy transition, digital infra, transportation, and utility infrastructure
• Project-finance modeling experience and infrastructure-specific metrics.
• Strong IC writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• CFA/CAIA progress a plus
• Exposure to refinancings, bolt-ons, or asset-level KPIs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; interact with members of senior management, executives and line staff in a positive and collegial manner
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to operate autonomously with transparency and integrity
