The Senior Asset Manager will be based in the Melbourne Real Estate team and will report to the Senior Director, Major Projects. This position is an integral member of the Asset Management team, enthusiastically sharing their experience with others and assisting in the provision of a range of services to the business.
Requirements
- Qualification in property, finance or related field.
- 15+ years' experience in an asset management role and a minimum of 7 years managing and/or leasing industrial assets in Melbourne.
- Good market knowledge of commercial and industrial markets from an investor, leasing and capital transactions perspective.
- Strong understanding of leasing process and valuation principles.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian Acts, standards, codes and practices.
- Ability to direct and lead outsourced property and facilities managers.
- An understanding of customer experience, customer drivers and customer strategy execution.
- A passion for ESG and implementing initiatives to enhance asset performance and occupier experience.
- Proven customer engagement, dispute resolution and strategic relationship building skills.
- Capability to understand and resolve complex property management, leasing and valuation issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to integrate quickly within a flexible team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and budgeting tools.
