Job Description
The Community Safety Officer provides campus safety and security while monitoring access control of the College buildings, grounds, and sidewalks. Provides assistance and directional information to the campus community as needed.
Requirements
- Periodically tours buildings and grounds
- Maintain department records
- Respond to fire alarm activations
- Reports any unusual conditions or malfunctioning
- Engage with members of the campus community and visitors
- May escort and admit personnel to campus buildings
- May be assigned special guard duties in specific locations or buildings
