Air Quality Consultant – Senior Level (Hybrid)

Barr is seeking a highly experienced senior air permitting and compliance consultant to undertake challenging work coordinating air compliance and permitting projects associated with the development, construction, and operation of varying industries. An ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of air quality regulations and a proven track record in consulting, providing expert advice, and delivering solutions to clients.

Requirements

• Assisting clients with air-quality permitting, environmental regulatory compliance, and related technical assignments.
• Collaborating with clients to identify and address air-quality issues, including regulatory applicability determinations, preparing compliance plans and reports, developing air permitting applications, and performing technical and economic feasibility studies for pollution-control equipment.
• Leading and managing highly collaborative project teams and developing internal team members.
• Participating in meetings and negotiations with clients and regulatory agency personnel.
• Engaging in business development activities, including the development of proposals, scopes of work, and appropriate budgets.
