Structural CADD Technician – Mid Level (Hybrid)

Barr is seeking a structural technician/designer to join their Duluth team. In this hybrid role, you will work with project teams to provide computer-aided drafting expertise, primarily using AutoCAD software.

Requirements

• Technical knowledge: proficient in AutoCAD to create detailed drawings.
• Practical design knowledge of steel and concrete structures, such as buildings, dams, hydraulic structures, equipment supports, foundations, retaining walls, and other similar structures, will be required as well as the ability to visualize three-dimensional relationships from two-dimensional views.
• Interpersonal savvy: effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to align technical work with project objectives while fostering strong, productive working relationships.
