Structural Engineer – Senior Level – Hydropower Focus (Hybrid)

Barr is seeking a senior structural engineer to join their Calgary or Saskatoon team. The role involves supporting the Engineering and Design structural group in providing structural engineering and technical expertise for dam structures, hydropower facilities, and flood control structures. The ideal candidate has great attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in structural engineering or civil engineering
• 10 years of relevant experience
• Professional Engineer (P. Eng) certification and a PE certification
• Ability to travel to and work in the U.S.
• Familiarity with Canadian Dam Association (CDA) dam safety guidelines
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit and structural engineering analysis software
• Possession of a current, valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
