Principal Security Practice Architect

At Barracuda, we make the world a safer place by providing cloud-enabled, enterprise-grade security solutions. The Principal Security Practice Architect role is responsible for shaping, enabling, and elevating the security capabilities of strategic Barracuda MSP partners.

Requirements

• 8+ years in security architecture, pre-sales engineering, or consulting roles
• Experience working with MSPs, MSSPs, or service provider environments
• Strong understanding of common security frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, CIS, NIST, etc.)
• Hands-on expertise in cloud security, network security, email security, or data protection technologies
• Demonstrated ability to engage with C-level stakeholders and deliver impactful workshops
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Azure/AWS security, or similar
• Experience creating repeatable service constructs, playbooks, or reference architectures
• Strong understanding of MSP commercial models and service monetization
• Prior experience in partner-facing or channel-focused roles
