Job Description
Barrick is looking for a Senior Metallurgist to join the Processing team. This role involves full time technical leadership, detailed process troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to ensure maximum metal production, recoveries, efficiencies, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Requirements
- Propose, Lead and support metallurgical process optimization initiatives to improve recovery, throughput, and reagent consumption in flotation
- Develop, implement, and manage metallurgical test work programs, both on-site and in collaboration with external laboratories, vendors and/or internal areas.
- Monitor and interpret plant data with deep statistical analysis to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
