Senior Manager, Cocoa Sourcing

Barry Callebaut is seeking a Senior Manager, Cocoa Sourcing to lead a team responsible for procurement and pricing of cocoa raw materials. The role involves developing strategies and policies to enhance profitability, working closely with operational staff, and managing a team of two cocoa buyers.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Computer Science, Statistics or equivalent
• Fluent in written and spoken English, and preferably a second language
• Minimum 10 years of experience in commodity trading and operations
• Preferably trading/investment experience in equities or commodities
• Ability to manage and mentor a team to deliver business objectives
• Strong business communication and stakeholder management
• Keen sense of data analytics and interpretation
• Ability to multi-task and deliver in a high pressure environment
• Financial modelling and computer programming skills like SQL, Python and/or R is an added advantage
