Tutor, Writing Center

The part-time Writing Center tutor tutors a diverse population of both undergraduate and graduate students in the Writing Center, providing one-on-one and small-group tutorial services. The tutor works in the Writing Center approximately 10-15 hours per week, Mondays through Saturdays.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English Composition and Rhetoric, English Education
• 3-5 years of teaching experience
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft applications for communication, reporting, and analyzing data
• Ability to learn to use different software tools independently
• Experience using Scantron and other office equipment
• Ability to communicate professionally to various audiences
