Visiting Assistant Professor of Law

Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law is seeking to fill full-time visiting faculty positions in all subject matter areas, with particular interest in Commercial Law, Business Organizations, and Juvenile Defense Clinic. The successful candidate will teach for 13 weeks during Fall and Spring semesters and perform committee work, scholarship, student mentoring, and student advising.

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• Commitment to excellence in teaching and outstanding scholarship
• Prior teaching experience is advantageous but not required
• Practice experience and/or judicial clerkship experience in area(s) relevant to target courses
• Commitment to the mission of the Law School and its curricular and instructional methods and goals
