The Trading Operations Specialist supports firmwide trading optimization and centralized trading across client portfolios. This role collaborates closely with Advisors to facilitate trading activities and related operational tasks involved in the management, maintenance, and investment of client accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Strong numerical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to solve problems using analytical and mathematical reasoning.
- High proficiency with technology solutions, including Microsoft Office applications - notably Excel.
- Working knowledge of investments, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, and options, and the role they play within a client portfolio.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, and understanding of the responsibilities involved in working with client assets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating initiative and comfort while working on firmwide duties.
- Strong organizational and time‐management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
- Ability to promptly respond to email, instant messaging, and phone calls.
- Effective communication skills, including professionalism, tact, and sound judgment when interacting across all levels of the firm.
- Demonstrated aptitude for learning software systems and researching best‐practice workflows.
- Ability to work well under pressure and with many interruptions.
