Job Description
BASF is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist - Regulatory Compliance Management to safeguard digital assets and ensure compliance within the Coatings division. The role involves leading the implementation of EU regulations (NIS2, TISAX, ISO 27001) and managing global cybersecurity requirements. The specialist will also act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external parties, ensuring alignment with compliance obligations and facilitating risk assessments and remediation. They will be part of an internal team dedicated to digitalization and collaboration in the coatings sector.
Requirements
- master’s degree in computer science or related field
- 2–3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity and regulatory compliance
- strong project management skills
- teamplayer with excellent communication skills (German & English)
- familiarity with EU cybersecurity legislation (NIS2, ISO 27001)
- relevant cybersecurity certifications (CISM, CISSP, CRISC, or equivalent)
