Java Backend Developer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of robust, scalable backend services. As a member of our agile, self-organized team, you will collaborate effectively with colleagues to develop new backend functionality, maintain existing services, and implement RESTful APIs. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to planning, refinement, reviews, operations, and continuous improvement activities within the team.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services
• Work in an agile, self-organized team and collaborate effectively with colleagues
• Develop new backend functionality using Java and Spring Boot
• Maintain and improve existing backend services
• Design, implement, and evolve RESTful APIs and service interfaces
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in line with team coding standards and industry best practices
• Contribute actively to planning, refinement, reviews, operations, and continuous improvement activities within the team
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers to ensure smooth data flows, clear API contracts, and consistent end-to-end behavior
• Implement and maintain unit, integration, and component tests
• Share responsibility for operations and maintenance as part of the team’s DevOps mindset
