Job Description
BASF is looking for a Quality Laboratory Technician to join their Performance Materials team in Wyandotte, MI. The role involves ensuring the quality of high-performance materials and supporting production goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of lab or manufacturing experience
- Associate degree in a technical or science-related field and 1 year of experience
- Strong understanding of chemistry, math, and statistics fundamentals
- Computer proficiency, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience working within quality management systems (ISO, IATF, RCMS)
- Clear and effective communication skills across functions and shifts
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with minimal supervision
- Lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying up to 25 lbs, and climbing stairs
