Job Description
The Meat Cutter will execute daily operations in our Meat and Seafood departments, providing excellent customer service and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities include cutting, grinding, slicing, weighing, and stocking products, as well as selling and merchandising. The role is a safe, fast-paced position requiring excellent customer service skills.
Requirements
- Ordering, cutting, grinding, slicing, weighing, wrapping and labeling according to quality and safety standards.
- Properly using meat department tools and equipment with safety in mind.
- Understanding product pricing, signage, and placement.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
- Safely handling meat products.
