Job Description
The Meat Cutter position requires a responsible, friendly individual to maintain a high level of food safety and sanitation in a fast-paced Meat and Seafood department. The role involves daily operations, excellent customer service, and the selling of various meat products, contributing to efficient inventory control and product merchandising.
Requirements
- Order, cut, grind, slice, weigh, wrap, and label meat products according to food safety standards.
- Properly use meat department tools and equipment.
- Monitor pricing, signage, and placement.
- Maintain a clean and organized meat counter.
- Help with food preparation.
