Job Description
Bashas' Bakers are responsible for executing a wide variety of tasks within the bakery department, ensuring food safety and sanitation, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining bakery standards. This role involves mixing, baking, decorating, and merchandising a variety of bakery products, as well as overseeing inventory and merchandising.
Requirements
- Mixing, weighing, proofing, baking, frying, decorating, finishing, and merchandising bakery products using Bashas’ recipes.
- Loading and unloading the oven, controlling temperatures, and duration to bake products.
- Scaling cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods.
- Assisting in ordering and receiving bakery supplies.
- Controlling product inventory and stock levels.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order within the bakery department.
- Wrapping, boxing, and stocking bakery products.
