Therapist

Bashor Children’s Home is seeking a full-time Therapist to join their team, requiring a Master’s degree in social work, counseling or psychology, and initial licensure. The position involves providing therapy services, case documentation, and training on treatment issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be a cooperative team player, and have an understanding of culturally diverse populations. The salary is $24.43 with a competitive benefit package, including paid vacation, a discounted gym membership, and a 403B retirement plan.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling or psychology
• Initial license (LSW, LMHCA) and actively working to achieve clinical license (LCSW, LMCH)
• Valid driver’s license and insurance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to make effective decisions and time management skills
• Cooperative team player
• Understanding of and sensitivity to serving a culturally diverse population
• Flexibility to accommodate needs of program and client
• Exceptional understanding of evidence-based practices
• Ability to be strengths-based and trauma-informed
• Experience working with youth and families with behavioral and/or mental health concerns
• Ability to balance direct services with other responsibilities of the job
